LAKE LURE, N.C. — Federal emergency response personnel on Saturday had
employees operating in hard-hit Rutherford County, N.C., stop working and
move to a different area because of concerns over “armed militia”
threatening government workers in the region, according to an email sent to
federal agencies helping with response in the state. Around 1 p.m.
Saturday, an official with the U.S. Forest Service, which is supporting
recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene along with the Federal Emergency
Management Agency, sent an urgent message to numerous federal agencies
warning that “FEMA has advised all federal responders Rutherford County,
NC, to stand down and evacuate the county immediately. The message stated
that National Guard troops ‘had come across x2 trucks of armed militia
saying there were out hunting FEMA.’”
What the heck kind of National Guard troops are these?
Tim Walz type?

So Baxter wants us to believe that National Guard troops 'had come
across x2 trucks > of armed militia saying they were out hunting FEMA.’

And instead of confronting, reporting, photographing, documenting,
awaiting reinforcements,,,,? They just fled?
And urged everyone evacuate the county? !!
I call BULL SHIT on that claim.

So, after spending my 3 years active in the US Marine Corps,
I hung around in their active reserve for another 3 years.
We did some drills on preparing for natural disaster.

A lot of life is about acting confident, and competent.
It would have been interesting to see us be confronted
by a "couple of trucks of armed militia".
I know we would not have run, and told everyone to
evacuate the county.

It was probably good preparation for about 25 years later
when the "Black Bloc" anti-WTO types tried their
"Battle in the Streets of Seattle" with us.
One Forest Service employee, she said, was pulling into a gas station
when someone yelled at him to leave, saying “We don’t want the government
here.”
I have heard lot's of people yell lots of things.
So what??

Of course I condemn any death threats, but nowhere is there any
evidence to show there were any "death threats".

But idiot Baxter, as always, jumps to crazy conclusions.

No evidence?!! A man arrested for making death threats is not
evidence?!!

You just negated your "condemnation"

A man arrested for making death threats is not
evidence?!!
What prompted him to do that?

Could it be FEMA's manifest top-down incompetence?

Why yes, yes it could.

You worthless Portlandia Antifa cell traitor!

DIE REAL SOON OLD MAN!

We agree, FEMA are most certainly "domestic terrorists".
