In her final hours, Amber Nicole Thurman suffered from a grave infection
that her suburban Atlanta hospital was well-equipped to treat.
She’d taken abortion pills and encountered a rare complication; she had not
expelled all of the fetal tissue from her body. She showed up at Piedmont
Henry Hospital in need of a routine procedure to clear it from her uterus,
called a dilation and curettage, or D&C.
But just that summer, her state had made performing the procedure a felony,
with few exceptions. Any doctor who violated the new Georgia law could be
prosecuted and face up to a decade in prison.
What is the name of the doctor that violated his oath?
He had sworn to protect life, and instead he hid out.
Assholes ought to do right and not hide behind excuses.

The doctor(s) face life in prison and possibly the death penalty.

Screw your (and their) silly excuses and made up arguments.
I spent a good career in Law-enforcement. I did actions that
were in my judgement morally right. I may have been liable
for prosecution for some of them IF - BIG IF, some prosecutor
wanted to create a scene in taking me to trial.
A moral person takes the actions they know are right.
The doctor that 'to keep himself safe' needs to be criminally
prosecuted and civilly sued.

NO! those are not "silly excuses and made up arguments". States have
been passing laws that do exactly that.

============
Alabama doctors who perform abortions could face up to 99 years in prison
– the same as rapists and murderers

trnd/index.html

============
However, 2019 thus far has seen the creation and passage of laws that
directly criminalize abortion providers. For example, Alabama’s HB 314
finds any clinician providing routine abortion care guilty of a felony
offense, and Texas’ HB 896 would legally define abortion as murder, so
that anyone involved in abortion care (eg, providers, nurses, patients)
could face the death penalty.

==========
Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, 13 states have banned abortion except
in the case of a medical emergency or serious health risk for the
pregnant patient. But deciding what cases qualify for a medical exception
can be a difficult judgement call for doctors.

Tens of thousands of women have been denied timely "abortion" care and
many have died, many are no longer able to become pregnant. All have
suffered painful effects because they are being denied proper medical
care. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF TRUMP'S ASS and quit trying to lie to us.
